my ever-present pull to the mountains is especially strong this saturday afternoon.
never have i breathed easier, felt more alive, had a calmer mind, been more content with myself and this life i’m leading than when i am in the west, surrounded by snow-capped monstrosities and evergreens.
the sea is a satisfactory fix temporarily, but the mountains is where my soul belongs.
